Dorothy develops an interest in Frank, a teacher at the school at which Dorothy is subbing. They’ve been doing volunteer work at the school on weekends when she asks him to come to the house for dinner. But things take an awkward turn when we find out that Frank is a priest. They decide that they can still be friends and have a nice time at dinner. Frank asks to have dinner with Dorothy later in the week. He’s thinking of leaving the church.

Dorothy is heavily conflicted as to what to do. She ultimately decides that she can’t allow Frank to leave the priesthood for her. But he’s not leaving the priesthood at all. He’s leaving the church he’s currently serving at to be a teacher at a nearby Catholic school. With all misunderstandings finally out of the way, Frank and Dorothy can continue to be friends.
