Blanche is excited to go a reunion of her college sorority. She comes back early, devastated because her sorority mates all looked younger than she does. She goes into a two-day depression but snaps out of it, realizing that she still looks great. But when she sees herself on camera during a screening of the documentary Rose is filming, she’s aghast. She thinks she looks old and decrepit.

She vows to have extensive plastic surgery to turn herself in to what she thinks is the perfect woman. She has her consultation with the doctor who is going to perform her surgeries. She tells him that she doesn’t care what the risks are, she’s having the surgery and won’t change her mind. As it turns out, she does cancel the surgery. Blanche realizes that there’s a certain charm and magic to her and she doesn’t want to interfere with that by changing her entire appearance.
