Dorothy’s son Michael and Rose’s daughter Bridget both come to visit at the same time; and they don’t get on well at all to begin with. Blanche suggests that the two go out and both Rose and Dorothy agree that it’s not a good idea. Neither wants to interfere in their children’s lives. Blanche later arranges for the two to go out, just with the intention of allowing them to get out of the house.
But they end up sleeping together and being discovered in Blanche’s bed. This turns in to a huge argument between Rose and Dorothy. They both said things they shouldn’t have in the heat of the moment but later make up.The two mothers have a talk with their kids. They both apologize for what they did and agree that nothing like this will never happen again.
