The girls go on the vacation from Hell. They go to an island in the Caribbean and end up at a fleabag hotel. The air conditioning doesn’t work, the phone is dead, and worst of all, they have to share a bathroom with three strange men. The six get into an argument but later make up. They decide to go sailing together but run right into a storm and end up shipwrecked. After getting into another argument, Rose takes charge and starts directing everyone on what to do based on her history of camping from her youth.
Sophia develops a crush on Mr. Matsumo who has been working at the house. The feeling is mutual and they spend time getting to know each other. They enjoy each other’s company and seem to become an item. After the men are gone for a long time, Rose, Dorothy, and Blanche start thinking they won’t make it off the island. They start confiding in each other and get things off their chests they’ve been wanting to say. The fellows end up coming back. It turns out they never left the island and they check the girls into their new and much better hotel.
