Rose finds a dog and brings him home after being unable to find his owner. Dorothy is furious. She initially says she hates dogs and wants him gone. But Rose continues convincing her to let the dog stay until Rose can find his owner. It turns out, Dorothy had a dog when Kate was younger and was so devastated when he died that she decided never to let another dog get steal her heart again. Dorothy finally admits that she loves dogs.
Blanche gets Dorothy a job at the museum. Dorothy is exceptionally competent at her job. This makes Blanche feel uneasy and she begins lashing out at Dorothy. She’s especially furious at the fact that the running of the museum banquet is now going to be left to Dorothy. She apologizes but soon goes right back to lashing out. She even goes so far as to quit. Finally, Blanche finds out the real reason for the banquet and realizes how hurtful her behavior was. She apologizes to Dorothy and the two make up for good.
