It’s long been established that The Golden Girls contains quite a number of pop culture references. But what’s less talked about is that there have also several from the art world. With Blanche working in a museum, art is a big part of her life. Rose takes up painting at one point. And the girls even have a chance to make a bundle on a painting by the cranky, and I’m being quite modest by saying that, Jasper DeKimmel when it looked like he had just days to live.

In this quiz, we’ll ask you about the art references heard in the show. When you’ve finished, don’t forget to let us know how you did. Since art and music often go so well together, be sure to try our quiz on musical mentions in The Golden Girls.

How did you do? Did you score so low that you wanted to faint like Dorothy did when she found out Jasper was going to make it after all? Or did you do better than Dorothy did at keeping the secret of the museum banquet honoring Blanche for all her great work? Comment in our Facebook group or on our page with your score as well as your favorite moments and memories involving art on The Golden Girls. Have you tried out this quiz yet?
